Laura is an occupational therapist, owner of a private practice, The Affective Collective, and training leader for the International Council of Development and Learning (ICDL). Laura's career experience has included supporting families and children through outpatient pediatrics, the natural environment, school and daycare settings, the NICU, and pediatric acute care. She is a lifelong learner with passions in DIR Floortime, sensory processing, and regulation. Above any training, the families and children she works with are her biggest teachers. Laura's favorite part about her work is getting to bear witness to the gleam parents and children get when they find ways to connect meaningfully.
