Lisa Mihalich Quinn, M.A., M.Ed., EMBA, ATACP, is a licensed special educator with nearly 20 years of experience making academic content accessible for neurodiverse students and learners who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), letter boards, and other forms of multi-modal communication. A former Maryland public schools teacher, she is the founder of Reach Every Voice, an organization advancing communication access for nonspeaking and partially speaking learners; co-founder of Communication for Education, an online training program for people who support students using text-based multi-modal communication in educational settings; and co-founder of Adaptiverse, an AI-powered platform that helps educators create adapted grade-level lessons in minutes. Since its launch in 2022, the CFE team has trained more than 625 parents, educators, SLPs, OTs, and Direct Support Professionals across 35 states and 23 countries.

Lisa's work centers on inclusion, equity, and reimagining systems that have historically limited access for the learners she serves. She has built and run inclusive settings where nonspeaking and multi-modal communicators access grade-level curriculum alongside their peers, turning what many schools assume is impossible into documented practice. She challenges educators and families to shift from "this is how it's always been" to "what if we tried," opening new pathways for meaningful participation, and trains individuals, schools, and organizations across the U.S. and internationally in supporting these learners in inclusive settings.
