My Story

Ā

At the age of 17, life threw a curveball my way when I was diagnosed with epilepsy. It was a shock not only to my family but to me as well, and it led to unexpected challenges. Just six months later, I embarked on a journey to Yale University, unprepared for the obstacles that lay ahead. Despite the rocky road, these experiences became the driving force behind my passion for supporting students with disabilities, as well as their families and educators.

Today, I bring together my personal journey and professional expertise as a teacher, bilingual school psychologist, and Director of Special Education to empower and advocate for a brighter future for all.Ā I utilize both my firsthand experiences and professional know-how, to empower and guide parents.

My mission is to provide parents with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently navigate the educational system, enabling them to become effective advocates for their child. Together, we can ensure that every student receives the support they deserveĀ AND realizes their full potential.Ā
